In use
Unplug the lamp and wait 2 hours before you lift the globe off. Give the old bulb 1 more hour to cool, unscrew it and fit the new one. Put the globe back, plug in and switch on.

Great Lava bulb
Bought the 15w light bulb for my daughter's lava lamp she received for her birthday a few years ago. The original light bulb died and needed to be replaced. It fits perfectly well in the lava lamp and did it's thing on melting the lava and keeping it moving well. I have it running as a night light every night since we received the bulbs. I believe it's been a few months. I can never find these bulbs in store so this is a great bulb to get if you're looking for a T7 15w bulb for your lava lamp.
What choice do you have?
Pricey, short life. But if you want the lava to flow, it's the only choice.
